We are a rural GP Practice running over two sites (a mile apart) with 7 GP Partners, 5 salaried GP's, a strong Nurse and HCA team and a large administrative team. Our patient list size is over 21,000 and growing due to new housing developments. We are a large, busy and dedicated practice who support the training and development of our staff in all areas.  As a practice our main duty to the patient is not only to treat illness but promote good health and wellbeing. We endeavor to treat all our patients as individuals and equals. 

Practice Facilities

The Practice is situated over 2 sites, Rothwell Medical Centre and Desborough Surgery. Rothwell Medical Centre is located on the outskirts of the town and benefits from car parking on site. Desborough Surgery is located in the centre of Desborough close to the library and other amenities. There is  parking to the side of the surgery and nearby. Both sites are purpose built medical centers, have wheelchair access toilets and baby changing facilities.

About the area

Rothwell is a market town in North Northamptonshire. It is close to three larger towns, situated 4 miles [6.4km] northwest of Kettering, 7 miles [11km] southeast of Market Harborough and 8 miles [12.8km] southwest of Corby. Rothwell's nearest railway station is at Kettering on the Midland Main Line.

Desborough next door to Rothwell is lying in the Ise Valley between Market Harborough and Kettering. It was an industrial centre for weaving and shoe-making in the 19th century and had a long association with the Co-operative movement. Desborough today is a residential centre: new homes and industry are being developed to the north of the old town.
